1. Who we are

moda ("we", "us", "our") is a workout timer app for functional fitness and endurance athletes. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

2. Data we collect

We collect only what's necessary to operate the service:

• Account information — when you create an account, we collect an identifier (such as an email address or third-party sign-in token) to authenticate you across sessions.
• Workout input — audio recordings, photos, or text you submit to parse a workout. These are sent to our backend for processing.
• App usage — anonymous crash reports and performance data to improve stability.

We do not collect payment information. No subscription or purchase is required to use the app.

3. How we use it

Your account information is used solely to identify you and sync your data across devices. Your workout input is used solely to parse and display your training session. We never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

4. Third-party services

Some features rely on cloud-based AI services to process your input. Your workout data (audio, photos, or text) may be transmitted to these providers during processing. We select providers with strong privacy commitments and do not permit them to use your data for their own model training.

We do not share your account information with these providers.

5. Data retention

Your workouts are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain a server-side copy of your workout history.

Audio and photos submitted for parsing are not stored beyond the duration of the request. Anonymous usage metrics may be retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes.

Your account credentials are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting privacy@moda.training.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your account data. Since your workout history lives on your device, you can clear it at any time from the app settings.

To delete your account or request a copy of any data we hold, contact privacy@moda.training. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The latest version is always available at moda.training/privacy. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance.
